On the 28th of May the museum was formally launched by Rory Stewart OBE and his wife Shoshana, with a group of former and current trustees and invited guests. Photographs were taken by Steve Brown of The Courier, a few of which are included here below with his kind permission. The popular exhibition of the five railway companies of Strathearn was on display.

When the late Martin Boyle, former art teacher at Morrison’s Academy, moved into a care home, his family, including his niece Charlotte (above) donated a wealth of artefacts from his childhood home to the museum.
