DESCRIPTION:MARGARET ROY – Trustee\nOriginally from Kenmore\, but now living and working in Perth\, Margaret has a passion for geneology and in particular local history in the Crieff area. having traced her direct Roy line in Crieff back to the late 1700s. \nThe talk will cover what life was like in Crieff in the 1800s in areas such as leisure activities\, education\, socialising\, law enforcement and some of the achievements and shenanigans of her Crieff Roy family ancestors in those times. Her notable Crieff ancestors were her 3x great grandfather William Roy (1794 – 1851) who ran Roy’s Inn situated in Comrie Street.
